Three awards go to Beyonce at the 2022 Soul Train Awards

The main winner at the 2022 Soul Train Awards was Beyoncé.

The singer of “CUFF IT” received three top honors during the pre-recorded program, which was shown over the weekend but was actually filmed at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas last month.

The song “Break My Soul” won Song of the Year, “Renaissance” won Album of the Year, and Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers’ “Make Me Say It Again, Girl” won Best Collaboration.

Chris Brown, Lizzo, Jazmine Sullivan, Bruno Mars, and Anderson are among examples. Among the winners were Paak’s Silk Sonic.

The Certified Soul Award went to Mary J. Blige this year.

Muni Long’s breathtaking performance of her Grammy-nominated breakout hit “Hrs and Hrs” and “Plot Twist” got the party started.

Ari Lennox also took to the stage to perform ‘Waste My Time’.

The events were hosted by comedian Deon Cole.

It was recently claimed that “Renaissance” act II is an acoustic LP and act III is a collaboration with her husband Jay-Z as “Renaissance” continues to rule awards season.

In case the claims were false, New York Times journalist Kyle Buchanan posted them on Twitter this month amid rumors that the website was shutting down.

He wrote: “Before Twitter goes down, instead of making you follow me somewhere else, I’ll just tell you what I’ve heard about the other 2 acts of Beyonce’s 3-part “Renaissance” project

“(2nd act is an acoustic album, 3rd act is a collaboration with Jay-Z) (sic)”

The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer is yet to announce the next two parts of the three-part project.

She’s received nine GRAMMY nominations for the first act.

The chart-topping lead single, “Break My Soul,” and record, which won the prestigious Album of the Year and Song of the Year awards, helped the 41-year-old superstar, who is now tied with husband Jay-Z for the most nominations in the history of the awards, enjoy a career comeback.

According to reports, Beyoncé will embark on a world tour in 2023 in support of her album “Renaissance.”

The singer of “Love On Top” last went on tour in 2018 with her husband following the release of their collaborative album, “Everything Is Love.”
